Aashiqui 2 is romantic musical fiction film which is directed by Mohit Suri. Starring Hindu deity Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, producer are Mr.Bhushan Kumar and Mr. Mukesh Bhatt beneath the T-Series and Vishesh Films banners. Set in the early 2010s, Aashiqui 2 is a romance centering on the turbulent relationship between musicians Mr. Rahul and Miss Arohi, a relationship which is affected by Raul's problems with alcoholic abuse and temperament.The film opens by showing a large crowd awaiting Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapoor)  a booming musician whose career is waning due to his inebriation – to perform at a stage show in state. When Aarohi tries to contact Rahul once more, Vivek ignores the calls. After 2 months of futilely trying to contact. 

After sometime Miss Aarohi is working in an exceedingly bar once more which Vivek had unheeded her calls while not informing him.Her family and To help Rahul fight his alcoholism.After Saigal reminds them regarding their dream of Aarohi turning into a booming singer, Rahul orders her to focus on her work. Rahul overhears Aarohi telling Saigal that she is going to depart her career for him and is prepared to convey up her celebrity status as a result of Rahul is a lot of necessary to her. Rahul understands that he has become a burden in her life, and that leaving her is his solely choice to save her. The next day, he bids her farewell by assuring her that he can amendment his fashion and commits suicide by jumping from a bridge.

Distraught by Rahul's death, Aarohi decides to leave her career but Vivek persuades her to remain. He reminds her that Rahul wished her to become a booming singer associated killed himself as he did not want to be a burden on her and stay an obstacle within the path of her success. Aarohi agrees, and returns to singing.she watches the couple who took her autograph sharing a romantic moment beneath a jacket as she and Rahul had done once he was alive.
